Colony House Builders
A new residential construction project in Fredericksburg, Virginia used 54 CertainTeed New Castle XT TM series windows.

This project is a model home in an upcoming subdivision called Sawhill. Tom Sagun, owner, Colony House Builders, says he and his crew wanted to make the project special because of its high visibility. "Like most model homes, it’s situated at the entrance of the development," Sagun says. "We know there will be lots of drive-by traffic and plenty of opportunity to showcase it." The Colonial style home has a wrap-around porch and an abundance of bay windows, which provide the home with ample light.

Crossroads Glass & Door
A new residential construction project in Arroyo Grande, California, used over 75 CertainTeed New Castle II TM windows and 11 French sliders. Also installed were CertainTeed’s Bryn Mawr II TM windows.

Mike Long, president, Crossroads Glass & Door, says their mission while working on the fashionable home was simple. "There is a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and Pacific Ocean from the property," he says. "The homeowners wanted the same picturesque, panoramic view from inside the home."

Most of the windows extend nearly the length of the walls – 12" above the floor to just shy of the ceiling, giving the homeowners well-lit rooms and spectacular views from each side of the house.
